Is Dell Core Services Really Hogging CPU and RAM on Your Devices?

I've been noticing some serious resource hogging with the Dell Core Services app across many of our machines, both on Windows 10 and 11. The CPU usage is off the charts, and it's consuming multiple gigabytes of RAM on several endpoints. It seems like uninstalling Dell Core Services could be a simple fix, but I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing this besides us, and if there's any solution that doesn't involve removing the software. I find it hard to believe that this software could be so malfunctioned. Any insights would be appreciated!

The issue partly stems from the latest Dell Command Update 5.5, which tends to install extra services like Dell Core Services. That could definitely explain the performance hits you're seeing.

I hadn’t realized it was linked to that update! Thanks for the heads up.

Honestly, if you're dealing with all this bloat, a fresh OS install might be your best bet. It cuts out all the unnecessary OEM stuff before you even deploy the machines.
