I'm looking for recommendations on the cheapest new laptop that can run Ubuntu well. I don't want any used laptops—I need something brand new. My main priority is performance, so I want it to run really fast as well. Any suggestions?

Finding a laptop that's cheap, new, and fast is like trying to find a unicorn! Generally, you can only pick two out of those three options. You might get a new and cheap laptop, but it typically won't be fast. Conversely, if it's new and fast, don’t expect it to be cheap!
