Hey everyone! I'm having a tough time with my PC. Here's the setup: I have an Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II motherboard, a Ryzen 9 5950x CPU, an Asus ROG STRIX OC EVA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, and 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM running on a Western Digital Black SN770 2 TB SSD. I recently switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but now I keep getting a BSOD with 'Critical Process Died' after various actions, like restarting or opening apps. I've performed some hardware tests, and everything seems fine. I formatted the SSD and reinstalled Windows, but the BSOD returned even when no dump files were created. Any ideas on what's happening? I'm starting to think it might be the PSU or SSD, but I could really use some guidance here. Thanks for any suggestions!

There have been reports of BSODs with systems using Windows 11 24H2 and the SN770 SSD needing firmware updates. It's good to hear you updated the firmware because that was a common fix. The lag you mentioned might be due to your system downloading updates in the background. If you get another BSOD now, there's a better chance you'll get relevant dump files since you've updated everything.
You definitely need to get those dump files. They are crucial for understanding BSOD issues. If you can boot into Windows normally or even in Safe Mode, check the WindowsMinidump folder for any dump files. If you find anything, zip that folder and upload it to a file-sharing site like Mediafire or Catbox. If you don’t have any dump files yet, try changing the dump type in the system settings to 'Small Memory Dump.' That way, it will create a dump file whenever you get a BSOD!
Thanks for the tips! I'll check that folder. I've been wondering about the dump files since they don’t seem to generate at all.

Sweet, that makes sense! I’ve got my fingers crossed that the updates help. Stress test sounds like a good idea to catch any issues too!
