Hey everyone! I'm in the process of building a high-end gaming PC and would love your feedback before I make my purchase. My main priority is performance, and I want to ensure I'm making the right choices. Here's my planned build:

- **Case**: HAVN HS 420
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800x3d
- **GPU**: ASUS GeForce RTX 5090 ROG Astral OC
- **Motherboard**: MSI MAG x870e Tomahawk WiFi
- **RAM**: Kingston 64GB (2x32) DDR5 6000MHz CL30
- **SSD**: Samsung 9100 PRO M.2 NVMe Gen5 4TB Heatspreader
- **Fans**: 8x Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 PWM 140mm
- **AIO Cooler**: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360mm
- **PSU**: Corsair HX1500i 2025 ATX 3.1 1500W

Before I finalize my order, I'm wondering if there are any changes you'd suggest, particularly about the motherboard and AIO cooler. Thanks for any help!

You've got a solid build here! Just be sure the 9800x3d isn't consuming too much power; you might do just fine with a decent dual tower air cooler or any AIO that's 240mm or larger. Also, make sure you're not overpaying for that RTX 5090—don't pay 50% over MSRP just for branding!

Looks like you're on the right track with a high-end setup! If you can swing it, consider upgrading to a 9950x3d for a bit more power; it's an optional boost, though. Otherwise, you're good to go!

I appreciate the advice!

Regarding your motherboard options, the B850 supports two full-speed NVMe drives along with your GPU, whereas the X870 can only manage one without slowing down the GPU. If you're going with just one SSD, the B850 might be the better choice unless you really need the USB 4/Thunderbolt feature. And if aesthetics matter, aligning your GPU and motherboard brands could streamline your RGB controls.

Thanks for clarifying! So, for pure gaming with just one SSD, I should lean towards the B850?
