Why Can’t My iPad Update to iPadOS 18.6.2?

I've been stuck on iPadOS 15.6.1 for a while, and it's causing a lot of apps, like ChatGPT, to stop working. Whenever I try to update to iPadOS 18.6.2, I get an error saying 'unable to install update: an error occurred installing iPadOS 18.6.2.' I've tried hitting retry multiple times, but nothing works. Most solutions I find require a PC and iTunes, which I don't have access to. Can someone help me out?

You might want to check if the update is partially downloaded. Go to Settings > General > iPad Storage, and look for the iPadOS update there. If it's listed, try deleting it, which should force your iPad to re-download a fresh version the next time you attempt the update. That could clear up any issues with a corrupted download.

I just downloaded the update a couple of hours ago and already tried deleting it, restarting my iPad, and redownloading. It didn’t work for me either. Is that still a different method?
