Best UPS Options for 9950x3d and 5090 Setup?

I just got my hands on a 5090 and while I was setting it up and benchmarking the system, I realized that my CyberPower UPS is only rated for 1000W. Even though I have a 1600W power supply, the UPS alarm goes off, indicating an overload. Currently, I have my computer and a 4K OLED monitor connected to it, and I want to keep both devices protected. While gaming, I might be okay, but I'm looking for a UPS that can handle around 1500W to avoid future issues. Does anyone have recommendations or similar experiences?

There don't seem to be many consumer-grade UPS options that are around 1500W in a similar form factor to your 1000W one. The commercial/server rack-mounted ones are definitely larger.

That makes sense. I’m hoping my regular use won’t hit that 100% draw often, but it's something to keep in mind for the future.

You might want to check if the UPS is strictly rated at 1000W for all components. Try plugging in your monitor into a surge protector instead and see if it still triggers the alarm.

A 1500W UPS is only going to offer about a minute more runtime than a 1000W one in most scenarios, so your options may vary depending on the brand and build.

That really depends on the specific model. For example, my 900W consumer-grade UPS runs for about 2 minutes with a 400W load, but my commercial-grade UPS lasts around 5 minutes even with the same load since it has more batteries and is meant for higher capacity.

I also figured it's probably fine during normal use, but benchmark tests really push limits on the power draw.
