I'm building a PC that will primarily focus on productivity, which is why I'm going for 128GB of RAM, and I also want it to handle 1440p gaming. I'm reusing my 850W power supply and I'm trying to decide between the R9 9900X or if there's a better CPU cooler out there. I'm concerned about the overall compatibility and performance of the components in my setup.

Your motherboard should handle 64GB DIMMs just fine, but I wouldn’t go for the 6400MT/s RAM unless you're certain it supports a 6000MT/s profile. If it defaults to MCLK:UCLK 2:1 mode, you might see some performance drops. If you let me know what programs you'll be running, we could look up some benchmarks too!
The program I'm using is McKesson for PACS, which isn't very popular like Photoshop. I've heard the CPU shouldn't be the bottleneck for this program, but I just want to optimize gaming performance. I'll downgrade to 6000MT/s RAM based on your advice!
