I'm putting together my first PC and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options out there. I want to know if I need to buy a graphics card directly from NVIDIA, or if it's okay to choose one from another brand as long as it has the same chipset. How significant are the differences between them?

Just go for the cheapest one that has a decent warranty, ideally around 5 years. Don’t stress too much about which brand you choose. They’re all going to perform almost the same anyway!
Good to know! I’ll look for those brands.
Honestly, it doesn’t really matter which brand you go with. All the AIB (Add-in Board) partners like ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte take NVIDIA’s GPU chip and just add their own cooling solutions and designs to it. In the end, you’re looking at almost identical performance—maybe a max of 2% difference. Just check out some reviews of the models you're interested in and pick one that you like, based on price or looks.
Exactly! The main differences are about cooling and aesthetics, not performance.
Thanks for explaining! I always thought choosing a different brand would mean losing out on performance.
All 5070TIs are technically GeForce graphics cards. There are just the NVIDIA Founders Edition versions made by NVIDIA themselves, and then there are the ones made by partners. They all have the same core parts, so pick one that fits your budget and has the features you want. It's not going to make much of a difference in terms of performance.
Got it! So, it’s fine to go with a partner card?
Exactly! Just check the specs and decide based on what you prefer.

What brands actually offer a 5-year warranty?
