Has anyone else experienced issues with the mouse cursor disappearing while using certain applications on Lenovo laptops? I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps including uninstalling and reinstalling drivers, updating mouse and graphics drivers, adjusting resolutions and DPI settings, and even rolling back graphic drivers. Despite all of this, the problem persists. It kind of reminds me of a problem I had with Dell laptops a few years back, where updates related to sticky or smart keys caused issues after Windows updates.

That's interesting! I've seen this issue escalate from support desks too. Sometimes the cursor hides when you're typing in a document or email. Have you checked the mouse properties to uncheck the option for hiding the pointer when typing? Might be worth a shot.
Hey! I noticed that your post title and initial message don't seem to match up. Just to clarify, is your mouse pointer disappearing in specific software, or are the apps themselves closing? I might be reading this wrong!

I realize it was a bit confusing! The cursor is disappearing behind the ribbon in File Explorer and some MS apps.
