Looking for Recommendations on Linux Laptops with Preinstalled Linux

I'm really concerned about privacy with Windows, and since I need to get a new laptop anyway, I've decided to explore Linux. I've heard it's more privacy-friendly, and while I'm not extremely tech-savvy (I can do some basic Java), I'm willing to learn as I go. Primarily, I need a laptop for college, as I'll be majoring in math, and there might be certain software I need to use. Ideally, I'd love to find a laptop that comes with Linux preinstalled to avoid the hassle of setting it up myself. Any suggestions?

Almost any laptop can run Linux, but I'd suggest looking at the specs before purchasing. It mainly depends on whether it has integrated graphics or Nvidia, since Nvidia needs extra drivers. Honestly, just buy a laptop you like and install Linux on it; it's a pretty straightforward process!

You might want to check out r/linuxhardware for insights on good laptops! While there aren't many that come with Linux preinstalled, it's actually a great opportunity to pick a distribution that suits your needs. Installing Linux is usually easier than you’d think, often even less troublesome than installing Windows!

If you're looking for laptops that come with Linux preinstalled, companies like Tuxedo and System76 are excellent options. They cater to different needs and can customize the software for their hardware. If money isn’t an issue, they’re definitely worth checking out!

Dell laptops work pretty well with Linux; I used a corporate version when studying, and it was smooth sailing. Just make sure to avoid models with Nvidia graphics unless you’re okay with installing special drivers. Otherwise, go for what looks good to you!
