I've noticed that there's a disk labeled 'recovery (D:)' on my computer, and it seems to have a lot of files taking up space. I'm starting to suspect that this might be the reason my desktop is lagging. Is there a way to safely delete this or manage the files without affecting my system? Any advice would be appreciated!

I couldn't add an image earlier, but here's what I found! You might want to check the files on that recovery disk. If they’re mostly old recovery points, you can delete all but the newest ones to free up some space. Just remember, lag can be caused by lack of space on your main system disk, so keep an eye on that!
I downloaded a tool called WizTree to help analyze disk space usage. It might help you see what's taking up space and manage it better!
It's important not to delete that recovery disk! It's actually there to help you fix or reinstall Windows if needed, and it likely isn't causing your desktop lag. Try checking other areas that could be causing the slowdown instead.
Just a heads up, the recovery disk is usually named ‘recovery (D:)’. It's designed to store important recovery data, so be careful before considering any deletes. Better to keep it intact unless you know exactly what you're doing!
Yeah, managing your restore points is a good idea! Just make sure not to delete ones you might need for future recovery.
