Hey everyone! I just built my new PC and played around with the fan curves a bit. I wanted to share my temps from a combination of HWMonitor and NZXT Cam while running a couple of games at 4K max settings. I know it's not a scientific approach, but I'd love some feedback on these temperature readings and any recommendations for free CPU/GPU benchmarks for more accurate testing. Here's what I'm seeing:
**Ryzen 7 9700X:**
- **Idle Temp:** 40°C - 50°C, can spike to 47-52°C when doing light tasks like loading a song on Spotify or opening a new browser tab, but usually drops back down within seconds. This is with about 7-10 Chrome tabs open, plus Steam, Discord, and Spotify. So I'm not sure if that's considered 'idle' or not.
- **Load Temp:** 54°C - 61°C when under heavy load (around 92%). It mostly stays around 60°C but doesn't often hit that upper limit. During lighter loads (50-70%), temps are in the mid 50s.
**5070 Ti:**
- **Idle Temp:** 30°C - 33°C
- **Load Temp:** 54°C - 58°C
Also, my setup includes an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor, a Thermaltake 420mm TH420 V2 ARGB cooler, a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Aorus Master 16GB GDDR7 GPU, and an NZXT H9 RGB+ case. I'm pretty pleased with the noise levels overall. Thanks for any insights!

Your temps are perfectly fine! They can vary a bit based on your room's temperature, but nothing here is alarming. Generally, you want to avoid temperatures reaching 90°C, so you're way below that threshold. You're good!

Thanks for the reassurance! I can’t really gauge my room temp, but it feels pretty comfortable.
