I'm trying to decide between getting a 5070 Ti or a 5080 for my build. In my country, the 5070 Ti is priced around 1000 euros, while the 5080 ranges from 1200 to 1300 euros (its MSRP was about 1140). Given these prices, should I wait for them to drop, or which one should I purchase? My current setup includes a 9800x3d and 32GB of RAM.

Honestly, it really depends on what you're aiming for with gaming. If you're not playing at 4K, the 5070 Ti is more than enough and much cheaper. It can handle a lot, plus you could overclock it for even better performance!
Totally agree! Unless you're chasing high frame rates at 4K, save your money.
If you're set on 4K, then the 5080 would give you the best experience. But for everything else, the 5070 Ti holds its own!
I'd go with the 5070 Ti personally. It seems like a better value for the performance you get.
Yeah, I play mostly at 1440p, so that makes sense!
