I just ordered an ASUS RTX 5070 and I'm transitioning from an ROG 2060. I wanted to ask for some advice on how to prepare for the new GPU. I've already checked on PCpartpicker, and it says everything is compatible. Plus, I still have 100W of headroom on my PSU, but I want to ensure I don't forget anything before my new graphics card arrives. Any tips?

Don't forget to check if your PSU has a 12V-2x6 cable for the new GPU! But don't worry too much. Most of the new 50 series cards come with an adapter, so you can just use the 2x8 pin with that. The 5070 doesn't draw close to what older models do, so just ensure the cables are all the way in and you'll be fine.
Honestly, if it fits in your case and your PSU can handle the load, you're all set! Just make sure everything is compatible and you're good to go.
That's kind of what I was thinking, but I'm a bit anxious. I don't want my GPU to arrive and then I realize I'm missing something since the nearest electronics store is an hour away!
