Should I Choose an RX 580 or an RX 6600 for My New PC?

I'm in the process of building a new PC and I'm torn between picking up a new RX 580 or going for a used RX 6600. My main concern is reliability since I'm not too keen on used parts. I'm planning to play heavily modded Minecraft with shaders, alongside games like Jedi: Fallen Order and Elden Ring. I have a 1080p monitor and I'm aiming to play on high to max settings. Which graphics card should I go for?

I had a similar dilemma and opted for the RX 6600. The performance difference is night and day! If you're planning on playing more demanding AAA games, the 6600 is a no-brainer.

Thanks for the insight! It sounds like the RX 6600 is the way to go.

Yeah, the RX 6600 will be a much better fit for 1080p gaming at high settings. The RX 580 is getting pretty old and might struggle to keep 60fps in those games, especially without FSR. Trust me, you'll want the extra power!

Definitely go for the RX 6600! It's significantly more powerful than the RX 580, especially when handling modern games. Just remember, even if a GPU is labeled as new, many are just re-packaged old models on a new board.
