I'm looking to automate the process of recording my Zoom meetings since I'll be doing this regularly for a few months. Here are the steps I want to automate:
1. Turning on my laptop at specific times and dates.
2. Entering my Windows password (though I can temporarily remove it if needed).
3. Connecting to Wi-Fi.
4. Opening the Zoom app and joining a specific meeting link.
5. Running my APower Screen Recorder app and clicking to record the screen.
6. Shutting down the laptop at a specific time after the meeting.
Is it possible to automate all of this, or are there limitations? I hope we don't have to do all of this manually!

You can automate most of those steps, except for entering your Windows password. If you’re okay with removing your password temporarily, that simplifies things. As for connecting to Wi-Fi and running apps, you can use scripts or task schedulers to do that. You might also want to explore software like AutoHotkey that lets you automate mouse clicks and keystrokes. It’s a little technical, but there are tons of tutorials online to help you out!
Just a heads-up, always back up your data before making any automation changes to your PC! And while you can’t automate the login process, most of the other steps should be doable. If you’re not into programming, maybe consider using software designed for task automation. It can really simplify your life!
You might want to see if Zoom has a built-in option to record meetings automatically. That could save you some hassle. But, if you need the chatbox recorded too and that’s not an option, you'll probably need a combination of tools to get everything working smoothly.
Yeah, getting the chatbox in the recording is important for me, so I’ll look into that feature and see if it fits my needs.
