I'm new to the PC gaming scene and have been experiencing some frustrating issues. I've had my PC for under a year, but lately, I've noticed lag, latency, and packet loss in games like Apex, Rocket League, and CoD. I'm also into VR gaming, and sometimes I get really low frames and blurry graphics. I suspect that while my internet connection could be a factor, there are times I have a solid connection but still experience frame drops and packet loss. I've tried adjusting game settings to no avail. I'm looking for advice on whether I should tweak settings on my PC or if an upgrade is needed to achieve smoother graphics at around 165 fps or lower. Here are my current specs:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
- **Motherboard:** MSI Pro B650-VC WiFi
- **RAM:** 32GB DDR5-5600MHz RGB
- **GPU:** Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB
- **Storage:** 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD
- **Monitor:** 32" LG QHD (2560x1440)
Also, I'm considering getting a new monitor, likely 27", and would love recommendations for one that offers good frame rates between 140-180. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First, check if your RAM is running at its rated speed of 5600 MHz. You can usually find that in your BIOS settings or through a system monitoring tool. As for your SSD, the model number might be on the drive itself, and using FSR (FidelityFX Super Resolution) can help boost your performance in gaming too. It sounds like you might not need new hardware; this could be more about software settings or configurations.
The memory is showing "Speed: 5600 MT/s", so I guess that's good? I see "Disk 0 NVMe" for the SSD, but I don't know much more about FSR.
