Hey everyone, I'm using Zorin OS Lite on my old HP Pavilion 6 notebook, and suddenly the keys 'a', 's', 'd', 'f', 'j', 'k', 'l', and ';' have stopped functioning. They were all working fine yesterday, and I'm not really sure what caused this glitch. Also, I'm considering making the switch to Arch Linux soon, so if you have any tips for fixing this issue or advice for when I transition, that would be awesome! Thanks a lot!

If you think it’s a software issue, you could try reinstalling the keyboard drivers or checking for any updates on Zorin OS. Sometimes, simple updates can fix weird glitches like this. Also, when you do switch to Arch Linux, make sure to check the community forums for any specific setup guides for your hardware; it can help a lot!

First off, make sure there's nothing stuck under those keys. Sometimes dirt or debris can mess things up. If that's not the issue, you might want to check the keyboard settings in Zorin OS. You could try resetting the keyboard settings or even plugging in an external keyboard to see if that works to rule out a hardware failure. If all else fails, you might want to consider getting a USB keyboard as a temporary fix until you move to Arch. Good luck!
