What’s the Right Budget for a Solid Gaming PC in Australia?

I'm planning to build a new PC and I'm unsure about what budget I should aim for if I want to run modern AAA+ games on medium to high settings. A source suggested around $1500 AUD, but that seems a bit low to me. I'm not worried about the costs of peripherals like a monitor or keyboard; I'm just focused on the core components of the PC itself. Also, if anyone knows of some easy-to-use PC building services based in Australia, I'd appreciate that info too!

There's no one-size-fits-all answer here—it's all about what parts you choose and how to fit them within your budget. But honestly, $1500 AUD can definitely get you a solid rig for 1080p gaming at high settings, and it might even hold up decently at 1440p with medium settings. You might want to check out PCPartPicker for a parts list that fits your budget.
