Hey folks! I'm getting back into PC building after a few years away and I'm about to purchase an RTX 5080. I'd love your thoughts on the rest of my planned components to see if they make sense together or if there's anything I should rethink before I commit. Here's what I have:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- **RAM:** G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB Series (AMD Expo) DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 6000MT/s CL30-36-36-96 1.40V
- **PSU:** Super Flower Leadex VII XP 1000W 80+ Platinum
- **Motherboard:** ASUS ROG Strix B850-A Gaming WiFi

Any feedback on compatibility, performance, or potential bottlenecks would be super appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's a solid build, but have you thought about if a 5070 Ti might work for you? It has similar VRAM and is way cheaper. Plus, you could pair it with a 7800X3D and get good performance for less cash!

The CPU and GPU will be a gift, so I’d prefer going with the fastest/best options since they won’t cost me anything lol.

Looking around, I found out that there will be an RTX 5080 Super probably by winter. I was thinking of getting a cheaper card to hold me over until then. Any recommendations for something under $300, used is okay?

You'll be totally fine with this setup! The RTX 5080 will handle anything you throw at it without breaking a sweat.
