I'm putting together my first PC build and would love some feedback on my part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Xfk4Lc. My original budget was $2,000, but you know how that goes. I've got a CPU, memory, and motherboard from a Microcenter bundle but I'm still on the fence about which GPU to get. I have plenty of time to wait for the right prices, so any advice would be greatly appreciated! Are there any low-quality parts I should avoid or anything that seems like overkill? By the way, I'm a complete novice, so please bear with me. Thanks!

I’d avoid the UD90 SSD. It uses QLC NAND which is slower and less reliable than TLC options. You might want to check out SSDs with DRAM instead for better performance.
Consider switching from the x870 motherboard to a b850; you won't notice a performance difference. Also, be careful with your PSU choice—pick a reputable brand because skimping here can lead to issues later. By the way, I have the Fractal North case and I absolutely love it, highly recommended!

Definitely look for a different SSD; the UD90 doesn’t come with DRAM. For finding good SSDs, TechPowerUp has a great database. Also, I’m not sure why people opt for the MSI MAG when the Century II is cheaper and more efficient. You’re on the right track though; just keep in mind energy losses and overclocking headroom when calculating your total wattage for future-proofing!
