Honestly, I don't think there's much difference between the various models and brands in terms of price versus performance. If aesthetic isn’t a huge deal for you, just go for the cheapest option that you can find!
For a casual user, most of these cards perform similarly, so you won’t notice much difference. Choose one that fits your case well, and you should be fine!
Performance-wise, you're right. Still, keep in mind that ASUS and MSI models use PTM7950, which can offer better thermal consistency than the cheaper brands!
