I've been saving up for my first gaming PC and need your input on my planned specs. I've got the following components picked out:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 4.2 GHz 8-Core Processor for $359
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE for $34.90
- **Motherboard**: Asus ROG STRIX B850-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 for $227.42
- **Memory**: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 for $124.99
- **Storage**: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB NVME SSD for $119.95
- **Video Card**: NVIDIA Founders Edition GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for $399
- **Case**: Fractal Design North ATX Mid Tower for $154.99
- **Power Supply**: MSI MAG A750GL 750W for $99.99
- **Operating System**: Microsoft Windows 11 Home for $119.99

My total comes to $1640.23, and I'm hoping to stay within a budget of $1500-$1700. I'll mainly be playing demanding games like Elden Ring, The Witcher III, and RDR2. Will this setup hit 60fps or higher for those titles? Are there any changes or upgrades I should consider? I appreciate any help!

Hey! For your GPU, I noticed you're going with the RTX 3060 Ti, which is solid but a bit older. You might want to consider upgrading to a newer model like the RTX 4070 Ti to future-proof your build. You could reallocate some budget by picking a less expensive case or power supply. Also, do you plan on playing at 1440p? That could change things up a bit!

You could consider reallocating some funds from the motherboard to the GPU; getting a newer GPU like the RTX 4090 would greatly enhance your gaming experience. Just be cautious about bottlenecking with your CPU if you decide to go that high. Happy building!

I made a few adjustments to your build. I switched to the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, which is cheaper but still performs great. I also added a Radeon RX 5070 for better graphics without breaking the bank. Trust me, a good monitor will enhance your gaming experience massively; you should consider setting aside some budget for that!

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into getting a monitor to match whatever I decide on.”
