I'm a newcomer to PC building and am aiming to put together a system that can handle 4K gaming. I've done some research so far and put together a parts list, which you can check out here: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JHzmMC](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JHzmMC). I'm hoping to get some suggestions or tips, especially since I'm on a bit of a budget and want to avoid overspending. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You’re definitely going to want more power if you're aiming for 4K. That means considering a better PSU overall.
If you're looking for 4K, I’d recommend something like this part list: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HwNkQd](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HwNkQd). You'll need robust GPU power, and the 5070Ti has better scalability than the 9070XT. I also found a cheaper SSD that performs just as well, so feel free to check that out!
Thanks for the help. Appreciate it!
For true 4K, aim for the 5080, you'll need the extra power.
You might want to check out this alternative list for a budget-focused 4K build: [https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2j4tDj](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2j4tDj). The 7600 comes with a decent cooler, which is fine since 4K doesn’t usually require insane framerates. You could also consider going for the 9600x if you’re looking to save a bit more. The 7800x3d is a solid CPU but a bit of overkill unless you have the high-end 4090 GPU. Make sure to look at benchmarks for the 7600 and 7800x3d; you'll find that they don't show much improvement over the 7600 for 4K gaming. Your motherboard looks fine, but there are some other good options out there. Also, for RAM and SSDs, there are cheaper alternatives that perform similarly for gaming. And definitely grab the cheapest 5070ti you can find; it's a great choice! Regarding the case, that's really down to personal preference, and that price seems just right. Your PSU is good, but you might find an A-rated one for a bit less if you check around!

For 1440p, would you recommend the 9070xt or the 1070ti? The benchmarks seem to favor the 9070xt.

More power? As in a better PSU?
