Hey everyone! I just found out that Microsoft is shutting down the Teams Display app in September 2025. This means devices like the Lenovo ThinkSmart View Plus, Yealink DeskVision A24, and Neat Frame are basically obsolete. We were planning to set some of these up in small phone rooms, but that's not happening anymore. I'm on the lookout for alternatives that won't be end-of-life in just a year. Is there a similar small form factor (ideally between 27" to 30") Teams Room Solution currently available?

Wait, aren't these different from the Microsoft Teams Rooms setups? Just want to clarify that.
Have you considered just using a standard TV with a larger Teams Room setup? We do this with a Logitech Rally kit and it works flawlessly—far more future-proof than those dedicated displays!
I wish you could disable the auto power-off on those TVs, though!
According to the product lifecycle, they're officially retiring it in September 2027, so if you don't mind using it for a couple more years, it might still be a decent option!
Just a heads up: While it's retired in 2027, support ends earlier. If something goes wrong, you might be on your own!
If you're looking for budget options, the ThinkSmart devices are pretty cheap—under $90 on some sites. I even modified mine to work with my home audio system, which has been awesome!
Those were on sale for around $25 each on Woot a while back! I grabbed a couple to use as control panels for my Home Assistant setup.
That's super frustrating! We just invested in a few Teams displays and they actually work really well. Guess we're going to have to rethink our setup now!
Yeah, I installed a few last November, and all the users seem to love them!

Totally agree! Our conference room has a large TV, a small PC, some decent webcams, and certain microphones. It’s way more versatile.
