Hey everyone! I'm building my first PC and I'm fairly new to this whole process. I've got a few components already, and I'm looking for suggestions on what else I should get. Here's what I have so far:
- Gigabyte 750W 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU
- Samsung 9100 PRO 1TB SSD
- ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Evo OC Edition 16GB GPU
Now I need help choosing a cooler, motherboard, RAM, and anything else I might be missing. I'm hoping for something decent for gaming and maybe some entry-level AI work.
I'm also curious if I need to get any additional cables to connect everything. I don't need to worry about monitors, a mouse, or a keyboard since I have those already. My budget is around $1,250, and I'm leaning towards an Intel CPU but might consider AMD Ryzen. Suggestions on a powerful CPU to pair with the GPU would be great!

If you’re in the USA and looking at that budget, you could definitely get some solid parts. For the motherboard, I’d recommend looking into B550 or even X570 chipsets if you're going with Ryzen. They provide good features and can support future upgrades. RAM wise, you might want to look at getting at least 16GB, preferably 3200MHz or higher to match your build. And don’t skimp on the cooler; a good air cooler or a basic AIO cooler would keep things nice and cool!
What country are you in and what’s your budget? If you’re aiming for around $1,250, that’s a solid starting point! Also, for connecting everything, most modern components come with the necessary cables, so you shouldn’t need to worry about buying extras unless you want custom ones for aesthetics. Regarding the CPU, if you're considering AMD Ryzen, it pairs really well with the 4060 Ti, and you might get better multi-core performance for tasks like AI. Just keep in mind to check compatibility with your motherboard!
