I've been struggling all day trying to install Windows Server on my Cisco UCS 220 M4 running ESXi 8.0.3. I can create VMs without any issues and access the GUI, but when I try to boot from the Windows Server ISO (I've tried 2016, 2019, and 2022), the installation doesn't start. I've messed around with the VM Boot Settings, changing between BIOS and UEFI, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on how to get this installation going?

Before anything else, I’d recommend double-checking that your ISO is valid. If there’s an issue with the ISO, ESXi should let you know that it can't find it. Plus, if you’re seeing an ‘Operating System not found’ error, that might be the culprit.
Make sure you’ve right-clicked on the VM, gone to settings, and confirmed that the CD/DVD drive has the ISO selected and the 'Connect at Power On' option is checked. You should also ensure that you’re browsing the correct path on your datastore for the ISO.
Have you made sure to set the boot device for the VM to the virtual CD-ROM? That’s usually the first step to check when things aren’t booting properly.
