Help! My PC Won’t Connect to the Internet After Switching Routers

Hey everyone, I recently switched out my old router for a new one. I unplugged the Ethernet cable from the old router and plugged it into the new one. My PC indicates that it is connected, but I can't access the internet at all—apps like Steam and Epic aren't working. Strangely, other devices in my home like my phone and TV are connecting just fine. I've tried a few online fixes, including resetting some configurations in CMD and restarting my PC, but nothing has improved the situation. I ran a ping to google.com, and that came back fine, so it seems like there's something else going on. Any ideas on how to get my PC back online?

Have you checked what IP address your PC is using? If it's not starting with 192.168.x.x, it might have defaulted to IPv6. Try disabling IPv6 on your Ethernet adapter and see if that helps!

I checked, and my IPv4 address is indeed starting with 192.168.x.x.
