Hey everyone, I've been using Foxit Reader, and I just noticed that the signature management feature seems to be completely gone in the latest update, particularly under the Fill & Sign function. Are they actually taking away these functions to push users towards paid options? Seems a bit extreme!

Foxit appears to be following a similar path to Adobe, and honestly, I'm considering dropping it altogether.

What version of Foxit are you using? I’m on the current version 2025.2, and I still see the signature button there.

Yeah, I ran into this issue when I had to sign a lease recently. It really threw me for a loop trying to figure out how to get my signature in there!

It’s interesting how many people shifted to Foxit to escape Adobe’s monetization tactics, but now it feels like Foxit is following suit. I really wish there were more open-source projects tackling this issue. It seems like companies can’t be satisfied with just decent profit margins anymore; they keep pushing for way more than what’s sustainable for users.

Totally agree! It used to be about providing solid products and building a stable user base. Now it feels like it's just about quick profits and hype.

Absolutely! It's like you're either a hero for the community or eventually turn into the villain with profit greed. It's disheartening.

I’ve started calling PDFs Paywalled Document Formats. It’s frustrating how tools are moving towards paid-only features.
