Is a 750W be quiet! Dark Power 13 PSU More Than I Need for a 5070 Ti + 7700X Build?

I'm currently considering the be quiet! Dark Power 13 750W power supply for my setup featuring a 5070 Ti GPU and a 7700X CPU. I'm curious if this PSU is a good choice at $180 or if I should opt for something cheaper that still meets my needs. My primary use for this build will be CAD and 3D rendering, so I want to ensure it's reliable.

I think 750W is the bare minimum for your configuration. It's not overkill, but there's hardly any headroom left if you want to upgrade in the future.

The Dark Power 13 is solid, but at $180, it might be a bit steep. For $90, you could get a Montech Century II, which has a ten-year warranty and modular gold certification. That way, you'd save money while still getting great reliability! Your GPU should handle rendering like a champ. Enjoy!

I was considering the Montech too! It’s good to know that it's cheaper, but the Dark Power 13 looks stunning and has platinum efficiency—such eye candy! But yeah, it’s definitely a premium choice.

750W sounds just right for your setup. Consider going for a Seasonic if you're looking to save some cash—they're super reliable and usually a bit cheaper.

The 750W rating is more than enough for your build. Just keep in mind it's a quality PSU, so you'll be set for a while.

You might want to check out the PSU calculator on the be quiet! website. Depending on your whole setup, like SSDs and coolers, 750W should generally be sufficient. But for a bit of headroom, I’d lean towards 850W if budget allows, especially if you add more components later.
