My phone's battery has swollen up and it's actually starting to deform the case. Is this something I should be worried about? Can I keep using it like this, or do I need to dispose of it somehow?

It's a serious issue! The swelling is due to gas being released from the battery as it degrades. If it ruptures, it poses a significant fire risk. Make sure to prioritize getting it replaced and dispose of the old one properly.

Don't just toss it in the trash. Look for local shops that specialize in battery disposal. Phone batteries are toxic and flammable, so they need to be handled correctly.

Yeah, definitely take it outside right away! A swollen battery is super unsafe and could be a fire hazard. You should really get it replaced ASAP.

Absolutely dangerous! It could lead to a fire or even an explosion if it shorts out. Don't ignore it—get that battery replaced soon!
