I'm thinking of buying a new power supply unit (PSU) and I've come across the recently released Corsair RM750e (2025 version). Initially, I was planning on getting the 2023 model, but the new one has caught my eye. I'm concerned because there aren't many reviews available yet and I want to know if anyone has experience with it. Specifically, what are the noise levels like? Are there any issues like ticking noises, especially when idle? I've seen some complaints on Amazon about this, and I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually used it.

I've seen complaints about clicking noises with that PSU too, particularly on a Dutch hardware site. It's a pretty common issue, so definitely do your research before buying. I recommend checking out the PSU tier list to see where it stands. It’s rated B+ there, similar to the 2023 model.
While I don't have firsthand experience with the RM750e, I'd stress the importance of getting a quality PSU. If you're looking for alternatives, the SuperFlower Leadex VII Gold is a solid choice, though it's a bit pricier. The Corsair RMX series offers great aesthetics with better cables and even a fan speed adjustment knob.
That PSU does look nice, but I'm on a budget! The SuperFlower Leadex VIII Gold is only available in 1000W for a hefty price in my area. I'm mostly looking for a 750W PSU, and the RM750e seems like a decent, more affordable mid-tier option.
Thanks for the heads up! Looks like it's more common than I thought. I'll definitely check out that tier list.
