Next up is a debrief with the CTO, which will be our first meeting. I'm curious about what usually happens in such a debrief—like what kind of questions I might face, whether they'll cover technical aspects or project design—and I'm also wondering how I can gauge how far along I am in the process. In your CTO debrief, expect some casual technical questions aimed at assessing your overall skill set. It's more about your thinking process rather than just getting the right answers. Keep it honest; if there's something you don’t know, talk through your thought process and ask questions.
