Should I wait for my password to expire or contact support?

Hey everyone! I've recently started using my Windows 11 computer, but I'm a bit confused. My password is set to expire on October 16th, and I'm unsure whether I should just let it expire or reach out to tech support for help. Also, I'm struggling to find my BitLocker key and don't even know how to contact tech support. Any advice on what I should do?

What password are you referring to? Is it for your personal computer? If you're logged in and know your current password, just type 'password' in the Windows search box. It should lead you to manage your passwords!

Yes, it's my personal laptop. The password is from my account, and thanks for the tip!

It might be wise to figure out how to contact your tech support before things go south. Better safe than sorry!

Just a heads up, BitLocker isn't related to the password that's about to expire. Are you really not sure if you're using Windows or Linux? That’s unusual! Let me know if you need further clarification.

I'm pretty sure it's Windows, but I saw a Linux label on it for some reason. Thanks for the info!

For your BitLocker key, remember that it’s usually associated with your Microsoft account. If you can't find that recovery key, I wish I could offer better news, but it might be tricky.

Got it, I guess I'll have to dig around my Microsoft account!
