Is it okay to skip one screw when mounting my motherboard?

I'm currently mounting my motherboard, but I'm having trouble getting the middle screw in because my heatsink is almost directly above it. I have dyspraxia, which makes it hard for me to work with my hands, and even with a magnetic screwdriver, I can't seem to get it in. Is it alright if I leave that one screw out?

No worries at all! Your motherboard will hold up just fine without that middle screw.

It should be okay. Just a quick question: were you mounting the motherboard flat on its side or trying to do it with the case standing up?

I had the case on its side—there's no way I could manage it standing up!

Yeah, it's totally fine to leave that one screw out! Just make sure all the other screws are securely tightened, and you should be good to go.
