Need Help Troubleshooting My New PC Startup Issue

Hey everyone! I recently built a new PC to upgrade from my old one, and I'm running into some trouble. Everything seems connected properly, as I'm not getting any warning lights or sounds when I power it on. However, I'm met with a black screen displaying just a white dash in the top left corner. I can't even access the BIOS to boot from a USB drive to install Windows. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: MSI x870 Gaming Plus WiFi
- CPU: Ryzen 9800X3D
- GPU: XFX 9070 XT Mercury
- PSU: Corsair RM850X
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB
- Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III
- SSD: WD Black SN850X 2TB M.2

I've connected my monitor directly to the motherboard instead of the GPU. I've also tried unplugging a stick of RAM and removing the M.2, but nothing has worked so far. I'm really at a loss here! Any advice would be awesome! 🙂

It sounds like you're getting a video signal since you can see something on the screen. Do you have any additional drives installed, maybe one from an older setup?

I only have the new M.2 drive, no other drives at all. Do you think it’s worth testing some old ones?

Just curious, why are you connecting to the iGPU instead of the graphics card?

I actually got a black screen when trying the GPU. I read that using the motherboard's HDMI port could help, but I'm going to give the GPU another shot soon.
