Looking to Upgrade My PC for Better FPS and Streaming Performance

I'm hoping to upgrade my PC to improve my gaming experience, especially for streaming. My current setup includes an AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU, 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and an AMD RX 5700XT GPU. I usually play games like Valorant and have just started using a camera for recording with OBS, but the performance is laggy. I want advice on what parts to upgrade for smoother gameplay and better streaming without lag. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you're working with a solid system, but to really maximize your performance for both gaming and streaming, you'd want to consider upgrading a few key components: your CPU, RAM, and GPU. Those are the heart of your setup and making changes there could greatly enhance your experience. By the way, do you have a budget in mind? Oh, and where are you located? That could help with some specific suggestions!

I'm in Germany and not sure about my budget yet. I don't need top-of-the-line gear, just something decent.

Definitely upgrade your CPU first. Streaming can be pretty CPU-intensive, and it sounds like that could be your bottleneck. If you do opt for a stronger CPU, just make sure your GPU can handle the new specs to avoid any issues. Any specific CPUs in mind so far?

I'm not sure yet, do you have any recommendations for a good CPU upgrade?

For lighter games like Valorant, you should technically be able to stream without any lag. It might help just to tweak your streaming settings in OBS or lower some of the graphics while you play. Sometimes, that small adjustment can make a big difference.
