I've got a PC equipped with an i7-9700K and an RTX 2070, but it's really struggling to run Fortnite, even at the lowest settings. The CPU is maxing out, playing audio gets choppy, textures take forever to load, and the game freezes regularly. Interestingly, my laptop, which has a Ryzen 7 7735HS and a Radeon 680M, runs the game like a champ. I've been running both machines side by side with the same low settings and Nvidia Reflex turned on, along with AMD Anti Lag on the laptop. The laptop's CPU stays below 60% usage and doesn't stutter at all. Even though my i7 benchmarks better in multi-core tests, I'm left wondering if this is all about AMD's performance or if there's something up with my gaming PC?

Double-check where your monitor is plugged in. Is it connected to the GPU or the motherboard? If it's going into the motherboard, that might explain the performance issues. It needs to be connected to the video card for optimal performance.
It sounds like there's something off with your PC. It should definitely handle Fortnite well, regardless of whether it's AMD or Intel. Maybe look into your CPU performance settings or any background tasks that might be hogging resources?
