Upgrading from RX 580 to RX 6600: Do I Need a New PSU?

I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from an RX 580 to an RX 6600. My current setup includes an R5 3600 and a CV 450 PSU, which has been reliable so far. I'm wondering if this upgrade requires a new power supply, as the RX 6600 seems to be more power-efficient. I only have a couple of fans and a 1TB SSD in my rig, so I'm hoping my current PSU can handle it without issues.

A 450W PSU is generally sufficient for your needs, but the CV series isn't the most highly regarded. Your PSU has been working fine so far, but I'm a bit concerned that if it were to fail, it might damage your new GPU or other components. Just keep that in mind!

Are there any signs I should look out for if my PSU is on the brink of failing? I plan to replace it before the year is over, but I’d like to know what to watch for in the meantime.
