Help! My New PC Won’t Boot – What Should I Do?

I just built my first PC, but I'm having some trouble getting it to boot. When I switch it on, the fans work, including the GPU's fans, but my mouse and keyboard aren't responding. The monitor doesn't show anything either, even though it's plugged into the GPU. I've checked all the connections, performed a CMOS reset by removing the battery for 5 minutes, and I can't see any lights on the motherboard indicating a problem. I've also tried playing around with the RAM by removing one stick and swapping them around, but nothing seems to work. I'm feeling really lost here—any advice?

You might want to check how long you're waiting for it to boot. Sometimes, the RAM can take a bit to train, like a few minutes. Have you waited longer than that?

I've waited at least 20 minutes, and still nothing. But if the mouse, keyboard, and monitor aren’t working, why would it take that long to boot?

Make sure your RAM is seated properly in the right slots. If you're using a newer CPU like a 9000 series, you might need to do a BIOS flash. Some motherboards have debug lights that indicate what might be wrong during startup, so check for those too!

I saw someone mention a BIOS Flashback in another post as a solution for a similar issue. Is that safe to do? Will it mess up my motherboard?
