Help! Windows Media Creation Tool Can’t Find My Drive

I'm having a bit of trouble with the Windows Media Creation Tool. I'm trying to reinstall Windows on my Omen 16-b0005dx, but it doesn't seem to detect my drive. I'm using a USB to run the tool, and when I checked in diskpart, it only shows the USB stick and not my main drive. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

One of the easiest fixes is to go into your BIOS settings. Try changing the storage mode from RAID to AHCI. It usually performs better and you won’t need to mess around with any drivers. Give that a shot!

You might need to download the Intel Rapid Store driver specifically for your laptop from HP's website. Once you’ve got it, unzip the files onto your USB stick. During the installation, when it prompts you to choose where to install, there should be an option at the bottom to load drivers. Just direct it to that folder with the driver files and it should help the tool recognize your drive.

I tried loading the driver as you suggested, but sadly it didn’t detect it.
