What’s the Best CMS to Migrate My Blog and Podcast?

I've been using Ghost for my blog, but it's growing beyond just that. Now, it's evolving into a video podcast and potentially more video content in the future. My team has expanded from just me to three people, which means we need more flexibility in site templates to accommodate these changes. I can also see us wanting to sell merchandise and have dynamic pages for guides down the line. Given all this, I'm looking for recommendations on a new CMS that won't break the bank. Any suggestions?

Have you considered using Astro? It's a nice option for hosting projects for free on Cloudflare, and it allows you to integrate whatever CMS you like. You could even use Markdown or MDX for your content!

If you decide to go e-commerce in the future, their guides for WooCommerce with Astro are handy too!

Just to clarify, Astro itself isn’t a CMS. You'll need something else for content management, but it can work really well with various systems!

WordPress is still a solid choice for all kinds of content. It's been around for ages and can handle blogs and podcasts very well. Plus, there are tons of plugins for everything you might need, including e-commerce support.

Yeah, it really does have a lot of options, but some devs try to avoid it for various reasons I guess. Just depends on your needs!
