I recently turned on my PC, and to my surprise, it appeared completely different from how I normally see it. It skipped the usual boot process and seemed to wake from sleep, but when I logged in, there was a brand new setup with a different wallpaper and various strange apps open. I think I was still logged into my account, though I'm not entirely sure. After restarting, everything returned to normal, but it felt so odd! It even looked like an outdated operating system, and I noticed some games, like League of Legends, were installed but not all of my apps were visible on the desktop. I bought this PC last year from Facebook Marketplace, and I'm worried that someone might be able to access it or that something strange is going on with my drives. Could something like this happen?

It sounds like your PC couldn't load your usual user profile, so it just created a temporary one for that session. When you restarted, it was able to load your profile normally again. No need to panic! Just make sure you back up your important files just in case.
