Is My 600W PSU Enough for My New Setup?

Hey everyone! I recently upgraded my PC with a 3060 TI, an Intel i5-14600KF processor, and B760 motherboard. I currently have a 600W power supply unit (PSU), but I'm wondering if that's sufficient or if I should be worried about running too close to the limit. This is my first real upgrade, as my previous setup was a prebuilt system. Any advice would be appreciated!

Also, don’t forget to update your motherboard's BIOS. The 13th and 14th Gen Intel chips can have issues if the BIOS isn’t updated, which could lead to problems down the road.

You shouldn't be cutting it too close with a 600W supply for your current setup. However, if you plan on upgrading your CPU or GPU in the future, you might want to consider getting a unit with a bit more wattage to be safe.

Yeah, I plan on doing a full rebuild with a new case as my next upgrade.

If you're uncertain, you can use a power supply calculator tool to check your needs. Just make sure to keep an eye on future upgrades!

What model of PSU do you have? Higher quality 600W units can manage just fine, but if it's a cheap one, it might struggle or even fail. Just be cautious about which brand it is!

I honestly have no clue; it came with my iBUYPOWER system about 3-4 years ago.
