I'm currently using 2x8GB RAM sticks (totaling 16GB) and I'm considering upgrading to 2x16GB sticks for a total of 32GB. My original plan was to remove the old sticks and just use the new ones, but now I'm thinking about keeping the old ones and installing the new ones as well, giving me 48GB in total. I've heard mixed opinions about using all four RAM slots, so I'm curious which option would be better for performance. Any advice? Thanks!

If you don't really need 48GB of RAM for your usage, just go with the 32GB. It's usually better to avoid unnecessary excess unless you're doing something super RAM-intensive.
