I've got a relatively new PC, but I'm only getting 5 Mbps at my new apartment. Back at home, I was getting over 200 Mbps. I've tested both Ethernet and WiFi, but neither improves the speed. I've made sure that every driver, including my GPU, WiFi, chipset, LAN, and CPU, is fully updated. Interestingly, my phone gets 200+ Mbps, and my friend using his PC on WiFi also gets the same speeds. I'm really puzzled about what's causing this issue. Could anyone help me figure it out?

It might be worth looking at your router. Just because your phone and friend's PC are fine doesn’t mean the router isn’t acting up for your setup. Maybe a reboot or some configuration changes could help?
Have you checked your BIOS settings? Sometimes there are network options that might need tweaking to optimize your connections. It could be worth a look!
What specific BIOS settings affect network speeds? That sounds like a stretch.
But if the router was the issue, wouldn’t it affect all devices? Seems strange it would only impact your PC.
