Why Are My 9800x3D Temps So High After Installing a 5090 FE?

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded to a 5090 Founders Edition and noticed that my CPU temperatures during intense tasks have dramatically increased. Previously, I was peaking around 80 degrees, but now I'm hitting 90 degrees and even 95 during shader compilation. My setup includes an MSI Mag Pano 100R case with three intake fans on the sides, one bottom intake near the PSU shroud, and one rear exhaust. I also have an AIO cooler configured for exhaust; it runs its pump at max and the fans ramp up to 100% when reaching 85 degrees. Are there any tips to help manage these higher temperatures? Would switching my AIO to intake fans help, or should I just accept that this is the new normal with my 5090's increased power draw? By the way, I'm not looking to go with water cooling right now.

It's also important to keep in mind that your CPU is probably working harder now that the 5070 Ti isn't holding it back. If you're hitting 95 degrees on a 360mm AIO, that's pretty high. You might want to double-check the mounting—my 9800x3D stays well below that with a Noctua NH-D15 even though I'm running a 4090.

What do you mean by 'bad compilation'? Could you clarify that a bit?
