Can My Asus TUF Gaming F15 Compete in League of Legends?

I'm using an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 that has an Intel i5-10300H processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM. I also have an Ant Esports GM320 mouse and a Redragon K630 keyboard. I want to skip the usual "League runs on anything" replies. While I can run games like VALORANT on this setup, I find it tough to reach a competitive level. I'm really curious if this hardware will allow me to compete at the highest ranks in League of Legends, since I struggle with the idea of learning a game if I can't perform well in it. Any insights?

I can't see much at the moment, but if you’re serious about being competitive in League, it might help to check the specs of PCs used in the LCS. That said, if you just want to have fun, hitting Diamond is a good goal for casual gaming!

Getting to the top in League is pretty tough. Most pros are young players who can grind out games for hours every day and have years of experience. While your setup is decent, it might not be the main thing holding you back from competing at the highest level.

Thanks for the insight! I guess it could be more about game experience than my setup.

Most competitive players use high-end desktop PCs with high frame rates and monitors that go 480Hz or more. They invest in top keyboards and mice, plus they rely on super fast internet connections. Playing League on a laptop might limit your performance.

Just download the Riot Client and test it out yourself. It’ll give you a good indication of how well it runs on your laptop.
