I built my PC about two years ago, and while it was decent back then, it's feeling pretty outdated now. I originally had an RTX 3050 paired with a 500W PSU, which worked fine for my 1080p gaming. Recently, I upgraded to an OLED ultrawide monitor, and I figured it was time to get a new GPU to match, so I went for an RTX 5070 Ti. However, after I swapped in the new GPU, my PSU started making a lot more noise—blowing harder than ever—without displaying anything on my monitor. I thought my PSU might just be old, so I upgraded to an 850W PSU, but I'm still facing the same issue. Any insights or ideas on what could be wrong?

How are you connecting your RTX 5070 Ti? Which cables are you using from the PSU? Knowing the specific PSU model can also help us troubleshoot further.
Have you checked if your new 850W PSU has any kind of knob on the back? Some models come with analog fan control, which might explain the increased noise!
No knobs on mine, and I'm still scratching my head about why there's no display either.

I appreciate you bringing that up! I switched to the correct PCIe cables, and now the fans are spinning, plus I'm finally getting a clear video!
