Hey everyone! I'm a self-taught developer who's pretty much gone through the entire web development stack, starting with basic web skills and moving on to the MERN stack, GraphQL, Redis, and more. After working on a project that I ended up selling, I took a break from web development because I felt burned out and not rewarded for my efforts. Now, I'm diving into lower-level programming with C and C++, learning DSA, and I'm intrigued by building systems that could connect to web and mobile applications. However, I'm feeling a bit lost about whether I'm making the right moves and how to showcase my skills, since I don't have much to show for my recent work. Any advice on how to approach this situation and what steps I should take next? Thanks!

It sounds like you're at a crossroads, but remember that learning is never wasted! Keep building projects and launching them; that's the best way to understand the whole development process. There’s no harm in learning DSA and C/C++; those skills are valuable and transferable. Also, consider getting some relevant credentials, like a CS degree, part-time if necessary. With the tech field being so dynamic, your passion and willingness to adapt will set you apart!
I worry about job saturation too! But it’s important to focus on your skills and projects. As long as you keep improving and creating stuff you’re passionate about, you’ll be in a good spot when it comes time to job hunt.
